We derived our foundation and the name ‘5th Element Wellness’ from a belief that’s been around since ancient China called Wu Xing.
This belief states everything around, and in us, is interlinked by five main elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood.
We have identified five elements we believe are necessary to achieve an optimal body, inside and out:
Everyone is genetically unique, with a different fitness and nutritional history. And we certainly live different lifestyles.
This means what works for one person may not be suitable for the next.
Each individual should be thoroughly analysed to determine what is best for their respective scenario.
For example, and contrary to popular belief, those with excessive stress levels may not benefit from high volume training or cardio based exercise. It may actually worsen their health. And often they benefit significantly from eating a carb rich dinner.
But there are many factors to consider when determining each persons optimal strategy.
One of the unique differences about 5EW is that we have all the knowledge and tools to identify, tackle, and improve whatever elements are out of balance.
